Belgium is significantly better than the US, fellas. They have at least 3 players way better than anyone on the US team, and that's a bare minimum. And they're up-and-coming team, with some of the best young talent anywhere in Hazard and Lukaku.

Of the US players that played, probably only Dempsey would be good enough to play for Belgium.

This. I'm worried about window of not being mediocre is coming to an end and we didn't generate enough excitement to develop the next generation...

Eh.....if the US played Belgium in 100 different sports, soccer might be the only one they'd win. Can't get too worked up about our soccer deficiencies.

And don't forget about Brek Shea......he's looking like a player who will compete at top levels, and has a fairly unique skill set to boot, easily our most exciting player. Most countries would be happy to have that guy coming along.

I don't see how. The only team the USA should have a problem with is Mexico. Of course Soccer is the rest of the Worlds game so losing to countries from Central America is possible. However, it would be quite pathetic for it to happen.
