Alright so tomorrow this shit get's rolling!!!

Now before teams have played a bunch of games give me some players and teams you think will surprise people this year.

Homer picks for players are fine, but that player better be a legit pick and not some player everyone is already talking about.

All I can give you is a homer selection at this point mainly because I don't know crap about any of the other teams right now...

But D'angelo russell for Ohio State looks like he could be a stud this year. He apparently lit it up in the scrimmage against WVU last month.. so I'm pretty excited to see what he's going to do this year.

Utah is probably the most underrated team in the country right now. Delon Wright is an absolute stud and could be the best player in the country next year. Loveridge is pretty damn good as well and then they have a couple 7 footers that are pretty solid.

I think they're a top 10 team by the end of the year.

And my homer pick as far as individuals go is Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. He will be a top 10 pick in the draft.

lol as I said, if he's someone people already know greatly about he doesn't qualify. Anyone who watched a lick of bball knows that he's a stud.

But I love your Utah pick. They will definitely be ranked for a lot of the year.

My homer pick for players

Deonte Burton(Marquette)- Absolute stud with high efficiency in low minutes last year. Team is poor for 1 more year and needs him to make jump. Will be high on everyone radar by the 2015-16 season

Carlos Morris(Gophers)- JUCO stud guard. All the gophers new comers have been spoken highly of, but this guy the most by far. He's an upperclassman with a lot of game to go with the Dre's. Tomorrow may be a good first glimpse.

As for team..do to history it's not much of a pick but I think MSU will be better than people think in this down year. And Harvard will be another March darling building off last year.

I think Georgetown is going to be good.

I said it at the end of last year.

I also think Florida and Gonzaga are rated higher than they should be.

Mizzou's new head coach Kim Anderson isnt really all that camera friendly. Im not saying he'll be bad as a coach but his first game against a non cupcake will be a stacked Arizona team and I fully expect a flummoxed Jeff Daniels look when a sideline reporter asks about what adjustments need to be made in the 2nd half. This is definitely a rebuilding year

Definitely Utah.

I'll throw out another potential surprise team/player. I think Ole Miss makes the tourney this year and Jarvis Summers gets SEC player of the year. They bring back a lot of minutes from last year's team and will start 4 upper classmen. Marshall Henderson was a talented player for them... but I could honestly see a little bit of addition by subtraction coming out of his departure.

I think a team other than Kentucky or Arizona wins the tourney.

IU finishes near the bottom of the B1G, Crean gets fired. Is it a surprise? Not really, but it's going to happen.

Agreed. Everyone thinks the PAC is shit outside of UA. I hope Utah drops the hammer.
