A no-brainer imo.....a healthy Lynch makes this team very dangerous.
I cant imaginé his touches being limited if hes in as good of shape as is being reported.
Yeah. I suspect we will see him in specific situations and that he will likely split carries with Michael on 1st down and 2nd and short situations.
It'll be interesting.
Sport's hernias can often be not much....and other times be real bears. Might be hard for him to keep the area loose and warm during the game considering the conditions.
No matter how you look at it, he's definitely a weapon any team would like to have in arsenal.
Which Beast mode are you getting back? The one that was in the Super Bowl a few years back or the one that started this season? Is he now healed better than he was at the start of this season? If not he may not help much.
2015
Week 1...... 18 carries for 73 yards or 4.1 per carry
Week 2........ 15 carries for 41 yards or 2.7 per carry
week 3 ....... 5 carries for 14 yards or 2.8 per carry
week 6 ........ 17 carries for 54 yards or 3.2 per carry
week 7 ........ 27 carries for 122 yards or 4.5 per carry
week 8 ....... 21 carries for 71 yards or 3.4 per carry
week 10 ......... 8 carries for 42 yards or 5.3 per carry
Season average = 111 for 417 yards or 3.8 per carry
Those numbers are why he decided to have the surgery. He was playing hurt. He'd run some plays and then have to go put hot water bottles on his abdomen. I think he was trying to "gut" it out and finish the season but it became obvious he wasn't playing well due to the injury. Hopefully the surgery is what he needed to return to some semblance of the Beast.
I think it's a good thing he's back...the OFC has shifted into another gear without him. But in terms of this game...he probably doesn't go over 15 carries.I agree. I just hope Bevell doesn't dust off his game plan's from early in the season just because Beast is back. I think we should use ML to establish the run, but if it isn't working early we shouldn't force it.
I think he does, especially if he has at least 1 more really good season after a good playoff push this year. Can you tell the story of pro football without talking about Marshawn Lynch? I don't think so. He has maybe the best run in the history of the NFL, a household nickname, and all time great caliber numbers (or VERY close to it). Maybe a touch more work to do for his case, but I think he has a good chance.I was watching the HOF show last night on NFL network. They narrowed the list down to 15 finalists for this year and Terrell Davis made the list. I doubt Davis gets in this year (maybe never), but it got me thinking about Beast and the HOF. Does Lynch have a legitimate shot to make the HOF? His numbers are as good or better than Davis's but he doesn't have the 2000 yard season, NFL MVP or SB MVP awards. Lynch has more yards and TD's though. I'm sure at some point Lynch will make the list of nominees, I just wonder if he'll ever be considered good enough to get in. Right now the only current RB that is a shoe in is AP. He can't be the only RB of this generation that is HOF worthy can he?
