I'm puzzled by Jacobs and Jenkins sitting the whole first half of the season. I have to admit, as much as I like the narrative of "The 49ers are so stacked at wide receiver and running back there's no playing time" I would like to see them play, if only to spell Gore and an added speed threat for the receiving team.

Definitely weird that Jenkins and LMJ haven't seen the field, but we can't forget that injury Jacobs got in the preseason. At the time it looked like some tendons got messed up.

At this point I think he is just insurance if Frank Gore goes out.

This may be my only post during the game. Just wanted to state I'm nervously as all hell for Colin Kaepernick. Excited for the potential, but his being forced to start could not have come for a worse game. He does remind me a lot of Randall Cunningham, though.

whats new for this team. they just play gore until he gets his season ending injury, then they get someone else in
