Back in the 80's there was a barber outside one of the gates at Keesler AFB, MS that had a poster (eye level when sitting) of Bear Bryant 'walking on water into the sunset' on the wall. He'd keep your chair pointed at it (2 feet in front of you) the whole time you were getting your haircut.
