Gareth Bale joins Real Madrid from Tottenham for world record fee - ESPN FC

Lunacy. Probably paid twice his worth, though Madrid can get away with stuff like that.

No matter how awesome Bale is, Tottenham making out like bandits. Have already signed something like 6 good players for this money and will probably still turn a profit on it.

Madrid should be something else to watch though, ridiculous number of fast, amazing dribblers.

To make room for Bale, RM sold Ozil to Arsenal space. I'm with you, Bale is solid but not that great. They were better off keeping Ozil, but damn, Ozil playing on the wing with Walcott et. al is ridiculous. Now they just need a defender such as Thiago Silva or Hummels to shore of that defense

Bale is terrible as a fit under Ancelotti...

I miss Ozil so much... such an awful decision to move him for Bale....

Ancelotti is someone I cant get a handle on, no idea what he's trying to do here....
