bad news from practice

Yoshi was rushed to hospital during practice, was conscious, likely dehydration.

None of the high schools in Omaha were allowed to practice from 1-6 pm today..

Hope he's alright..

There really is no reason they should get dehydrated........ If so, it probably means he was drinking soda last night and not water....... The too hot to practice is a bunch of bs... As long as you drink a lot of water...........I mean- I remember having two-a-days in weather like this in high school..... and their were no problems- Omaha having to regulate practice times is a result of the society we live in where it is always somebody elses fault..........

We do have soldiers over in Iraq.............. They don't get time off because of heat- and it's much hotter over there..

Crap! I hope he's ok, heat stroke is some serious life or death business. Once you've had it once it lowers your tolerance for the future of it coming back. Heat index was 116 down here today

also, I agree that it wasn't too hot for practice, but will withhold judgement until the details are out.

Jeziz........heat stroke is no little thang. If he is back that quick he must not have gotten it to a terrible extent. But damn, heat stroke is serious......I'm happy to hear he is ok, there have been several players who have died from this in the past at other schools
