Backup RB’s

been thinking who are some RB’s to keep an eye on as teams start to notice their starters wearing down or looking to rest them once they have their spots locked up. I was thinking about this as I was perusing FA and considering adding Ware in the next week or two.

I you have room and play into week 17 (yes, there are leagues that do that) a guy like Brown or Ware could be the difference if playoff spots and HFA is already decided. That's where you need to look. Don't laugh (and I haven't looked at any schedules) but Ridley/Smith could be huge as tSteelers like to sit guise when all is decided.

Ware and Brown. Not sure if Ridley or Samuels would get the carries if something happened to Conner. Maybe Blue, in Houston? Who is buried on the Saints depth chart? I can't imagine Kamara getting too many unnecessary touches if it doesn't matter.

Spin: Freeman was placed on injured reserve after Week 5. It is possible he will return in Week 15 and could be stashed on a deep fantasy bench for the potential playoff value, but he should not otherwise be rostered.

I'll probably be wrong, but my guess would be Samuels. Ridley is the vet presence and would likely 'start' the game in the event the starters were benched but they have more interest in preserving him for the postseason. I'd bet my bottom dollar that Samuels would get the bigger workload.
