Yeah probably . Cook already signed with Denver but I'm guessing he will end up in the G league . Guys leaving early is ok by me but guys with huge holes in their games like these 4 probably should've stayed and worked on their craft . Some of them don't have that economic luxury though
Especially when you consider most G Leaguers never sniff the NBA and end up having to finish their degree later so they can get a job that pays more than 35k a year anyway .i'm not going to fault a dude for trying to start their career as early as they can
i do think it's retarded to leave college for the G-League, though
it's the basketball equivalent of dropping out of college after your junior year to work at McDonalds
If you want to work on your craft as a professional, sign with a legitimate basketball league.
edit:
i'm not saying they should return to college for an extra year. It is a rare occurrence when a junior vastly improves a hole in his game as a senior. With that said, senior year of college is a better option than the G-League. Mostly, because the G-League is worthless.
Schedule release today !! Season coming fast .
Iowas schedule is brutal early including a 3 week stretch of
Texas Tech ( neutral )
Creighton ( neutral )
At Syracuse
At Michigan
Minnesota
At Iowa St
Cincinnati ( neutral )
Iowa also plays Penn St at the Palestra . So that's fun
Wrong forum brother . I still love you though lolIowa during Ferentz's (sp?) tenure has played Michigan EXCEEDINGLY well, though I think Harbaugh has the pieces to take a shot at the Championship (National & B1G) barring injuries.
That really sucks. Hes worked hard to get back and then this shit againEric Curry out for the year with a torn acl. Just sucks. He's now torn both acl's. Dude was such an important piece of our 2017 team as a freshman. It's such a shame he's been riddled with injuries. Can't think he'll ever reach the potential he showed as a freshman.
