The Ft. Worth Star Telegram had two articles (actually a blog and an article) yesterday complaining about the apathetic fans because attendance is lower against Boston. One took a picture of the stands at the start of a game a few weeks ago against Seattle to prove his point.
We are up over 6600 fans per game over last season. No other MLB team has seen a larger increase and many have seen attendance losses.
I think calling fans apathetic, especially with the heat and with school starting this week, is completely out of line.
