UCLA is losing to Kentucky 41-7 at the half. The Bruins have shot 3/37 from the field (8.1%) and only two players - Tony Parker (2) and Kevin Looney (5) have scored.


Perhaps the low point in Westwood in our lifetimes. There is bad, there is worse, there is catastrophic and then there is this.

I thought you were joking around at first but you weren't!! I'm at a loss for words yet, I can't stop laughing! How the hell does he keep getting these extensions? Sendek's record at ASSU is 147-126! Absolute garbage record but they keep giving him extension after extension? This dude is a master salesman I tell ya, or NOBODY wants that job and asu knows sendek is the best theyll get. If I were an asu fan, I'd demand a change and boycott games; not like anyone goes to their games anyways hahaha but still. Isn't he like the 4th highest paid pac 12 coach? Lmao. Please just give him a 10 year extension today and call it a day haha

Another comment is if you take out the first year 8-22 record Herb is 139-104. Evans was under .500 and Frieder (bill) was 132-108. It is tough to win lots of games when your hoops program is without $funding. I think we ASU has done the best that they could with that said.
Next step: fire Herb after this season and start with a clean slate (again) I can wait......
I still love the Harden years and us beating you fuckers 3 straight.

Herb is 62-64 in the Pac, and that's not counting his first year at 2-16. 9-9 on average is a pretty low bar. He has 1 tourney win at ASU, which is especially rough being the second most tenured coach in the Pac.

We can go around and around about this, but ASU is in sharp decline, and will still be sub .500 in conference after this year. Last year was the only thing resembling a tourney team from ASU for at least another couple few years after this one. I think Musselman leaving sealed their fate for some time. His absence hurts both Xs and Os and recruiting. I don't see anyone walking in to play or coach to change that. Losing to every power conference team in your non-con, and beating every mid-low major (except Lehigh) is bad shape heading into conference play.

I bet in a couple years a petition is going to start up, trying to charge ASU basketball rent to play at McKale North.
