I am excited to see what other moves are made before the season. I think we need 2 more players under contract and only have like $600k left. Drop Boucher and Cote and we jump to a whopping $2 million for 4 guys. These will be the guys that sit, but we still need depth.

not after we trade gagne. then we have plenty of room and most of the extra skaters are from the ahl who only make 800k.

I'm just going crazy from lack of sports period. Hockey's over, baseball sucks, football hasn't started yet and I'm not sure how good the Eagles and Badgers are gonna be this year any way.

Football sucks. I don't even know what that sport is with the orange ball. Baseball isn't watchable anymore with Harry K. The only thing holding me afloat is the Netherlands run to the WC Final. After Sunday, I'll be thoroughly fucked for several months.

And if we get Zherdev and Simmonds like rumors are saying we could have rooom for a goalie. IMO those 2 offensive moves make our O better and give more depth, not to mention there could be money for a tender in that.

IMO Leighton is our man, though.

i doubt we could get a goalie. zherdev might get around 3.5 mil and simmonds makes about 850k. we need extra just in case though. so i think leighton is our goalie.

Zherdev is looking for $4 million, so he'll get 3 figuring as low as possible. Add in Simmonds and Carcillo, and that's not a whole lot left for a goalie.

Unless Shelley retires.

Right now, I am not. Perhaps after I see the actual team that will start the year I will be.

We seen what he can do with just 3 1/2 solid d-men in front of him this year. Homer gave him and the team 2 more. What more can a goalie ask for?

I guess we'll find out starting Sept 21st.
