After 5 weeks, they're 2-2-1. Kicking cost them 2 losses. They currently lead the NFL in turnovers forced and turnover margin, a statistic that has historically been a major indicator of making the postseason.

Another nice thing: of the 5 rookie of the week awards given out, 4 have gone to the Browns (Ward 2, Mayfield 1, Chubb 1). Also, for those counting at home who ripped the Browns apart for taking Ward over Brad Chubb, that's 2 Rookie of the Week wins for Ward, compared to 1.5 sacks for Chubb.

At this point, it's basically getting Baker more comfortable and confident. While the playoffs are still unlikely, it does seem like this team should be right there in the mix.

Well, I still expect the Browns to only finish with something like six wins so I don't really see them pushing for a playoff spot.

4 of their next 6 games are against the chargers, chiefs, Bengals, and Steelers. If they come out of this stretch at 6-4-1 or better, then I would say they've got a shot at it.

Keep running the ball well and playing good defense and you're in.

Oh, keeping Mayfield healthy wouldn't hurt.

I think they have a great chance Sunday. They're actually giving a point to the Chargers. LAC isn't fully healthy, and Pac Coast teams notoriously don't play well on the East Coast, especially with the 1:00 EST kickoff.

KC is a loss, let's be real. They can beat the Steelers. Hell, they almost did week 1, and that was with Tyrod. Cincy is going to be really interesting.

No. They still have a shitty HC that will keep this from being a reality.

Yurp- you can't look at that roster and division and tell me the Browns shouldn't be in the picture if they get anything out of Baker.

It is also true you can't look at the coaching staff and put them in.

Browns have lost many close games not only this year, hope they turn it around. Played golf today with a dude who interviewed Hue recently. The narrative is that he is a nice guy, but too soft with players in practice, which carries onto the field. He said that times are changing and he is going to experiment being more tough

That's the biggest knock on Hue for sure, especially after watching Hard Knocks. He doesn't need to walk around talking to these guys like they're hanging out at the bar. He needs to be a leader and he's a pretty soft one.

Does Hue have a clue what he's doing on the sideline?

Considering both of his coordinators are known as hard asses, it might not be a horrible thing if Hue is a player's coach. If the entire coaching staff were hard asses, the players May reject their message.

BB pulls it off but many have failed trying it that way
