With the tragic passing of one our own we honor the legacy of Furbs!!!! It is pretty fitting we honor Furby in one of our favorite months of the year... Draft season!

Furby goes back to the Mouth Off - self identified group - known as the Cockroaches based on our ability to go in and out of threads to cause mayhem. We would gang up on trolls, but basically played out our postings as a serious of jokes - inside which - there was always a truth to be told.

One such time - we wrote an alternating story - paragraph my paragraph - that involved a football game on Mars - and me stealing Furby from her husband 'Lyle" and trying to keep her away from her other many admirers. Her first screen name was Furr Ball - it was the roaches who called her Furby. Eventually - she adopted that name.

In her "real" life - she was a nurse - who loved to travel with her husband to cool places. She knew her Bronco's stuff for real as well.

RIP - Furby - you were the Queen of MouthOff and KFFL.

Ben - her husband died maybe 1-2 years prior - around Christmas she was in the hospital for unspecified reasons. In March there was a note of her FB feed that she had passed away. She was up there around George's age.

You are always dragging me into these things. You came far enough ahead of me in 1951 you were already making Book on the Steelers before I was born.
