Here is a side by side comparision of the AP, and Coaches poll. You can clearly see how the AP actually responds to what happens on the field. While the Coaches stick to there preconcieved ideas.

It's only uncommon because so many in the top 25 lost making room, only happens once in a blue moon.

Meh. After South Carolina beat Georgia, a lot of pollsters kept UGa above the Gamecocks. There were plenty of "WTF?" reactions at the time, but it seems have been proven true that Georgia is a better team overall -- despite the one head to head meeting.
