Huskies defense just isn't quit ready for prime time... they need to bolster there pass rush and yesterday they really got exposed there... Definitely a program on the rise though, I think in the next year or 2 they have a serious shot at a national title, but they HAVE to improve the defense, especially the pass rush ...
I feel like I maybe in the cross hairs for awhile from you fellow Seahawk fans.
This. The defense had some weak spots, but they also made some big plays, and definitely kept the game winnable. This one was on the offense.A lot of people seem to put this on the defense, but USC had a blocked punt that helped them out and the safety at the end. Most had USC scoring 20-25 points so they were right about where you thought they would be.
The problem was the offense. It was horrible. Line wasn't blocking at all for the run game and gave up quite a few sacks. Then Browning just had a bad game.
You can't score 13 at home and win many games at the college level. That's just not good enough.

They haven't had that same killer pass rush since Mathis went down and he's not coming back until at least after new years day. So you have what you have on defense until then.Offense has some issues also agreed, but that pass rush by the Huskies was non existent... that is something they have to address or getting to a national title game is gonna be a difficult thing..
On the bright side, Louisville just got crushed by Houston. They'll be moving back down in the polls.
OSU and Michigan will still play each other, and it's not like both of them can be Big10 champs. If UW bounces back and wins out, they could very well be right back in the top 4.There done and need one more team in the top 4 to lose. Huskies better come out and roll ASU.
