I don't think anyone's really hating on Xmas music. There's some I really like, especially jazz piano renditions of the classics. I'm just not a fan of it in early to mid November.

When I hear Xmas music in a store in December, it invokes images of presents and food. When I hear Xmas music in a store in November, it invokes images of someone trying to sell me something.

I enjoy Christmas music from December 1st to December 26th as the decorations are coming down.
