At Minimum he'll miss the first month of the season.. So why haven't the Reds DL'd him yet?

He'll be on the DL on Monday or Tuesday. Maybe even Sunday. I don't know when the Reds play.

If it isn't a serious injury, one that would land a guy on the 60 day, they don't need the roster spot on the 40 man, during ST.

That's why all the routine injuries are left hanging out there. It does suck right now when trying to square away your roster for Opening Day.

DeSclafani (elbow) underwent a platelet-rich plasma injection to try to speed up his healing process, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.

DeSclafani has been shut down from throwing but has started his rehab. At minimum he'll miss the first month of the season.

I certainly wasn't counting on him to be an "ace" or close to it but I do expect production out of him. Just want to DL him so I can pick someone else up in my league before someone else does.

Drop his ass... a 4 era, not a K per inning, on a bottom 3-5 team who happen to have the worst bullpen in the league.... if he gets 5 wins, I will be shocked.
