Yep and USC, UGA, and Louisville are too high. Auburn and Michigan State are too low and VT and Boise have absolutely no business being included at all.

I am not so sure about USC. Michigan State was gutted on defense and that is their identity. I am sure that is low at all. Auburn won a lot of close games. Some would say they won a couple on abject luck. It is not hard to believe that they lose a couple of those this year. List their best OL by far. The defense is still a huge question mark. I like them closer to 10 than 1, until I see some improvement. I disagreed with Clemson. This is a straight mathematical formula, so there will be a few anomalies

You misunderstood. I was saying I am not sure that USC in over-rated in this poll. I would be more comfortable saying Stanford is overrated than USC

A&M is going to be pretty hard for a computer to model. They bring back like 16 starters, so few teams can match that. The players they lost happened to be mostly 1st round talent. It's rare to lose just 1st round talent.

In the Pete C days SC lost 1st round talent every year only to be replaced by 1st round talent. Ahhhhhh the good ol days.
