Any list that ranks Russell Wilson 5th is so beyond laughable that it isn't even funny. Their only criticism they can muster is that he gets sacked a lot. Meanwhile, Luck is a turnover machine but that's no big deal. It's hilarious how he beats Luck time and time again in every important metric and he still gets ranked lower. When will people just realize that maybe Russell Wilsom plays better because he is better?

Newton ahead of him is a joke. Wilson has a little more upside than Kaepernick but that's not bad to me. He doesn't deserve to be in a discussion with either Luck or RG3.

Sorry Smart but you have to look at the big picture. Luck set records for most yard in a game & season, also took a 2-14 team and led them to an 11-5 record and into the playoffs. All of this with one of the worst offensive line in the league. I like Wilson, he took a good Seahawk team into the playoffs also. Luck had less to work with.

The real story about who and what Luck is should be told this season. Arians had him holding the ball until I could sack him behind a paper mache offensive line. He had to throw the ball 39 times a game because the running game could have also featured me. Drops of on target passes were off the charts.

Yeah, I have heard all that stuff about excuses and statistics don't lie. Major load of crap too. He should have a more quarterback friendly offense, better line and better running game this year. And a plethora (do you have a plethora?) of solid tight ends this season. So things will be on a more level playing field between Luck and the other young guns. This year, if things go as planned, statistics will be more valid and there will be far less opportunity to make excuses.
