Aparrently O'Connor signed a new contract in 2007 that ends in 2012. He is making less than $200k per year where Anderson was making $330K. Doubtful T.O. would pursue him until Virginia's season is finished. That would mean the ACC tournament and NCAA Regionals at the very minimum.

My guess is the AD @ Virginia is already attempting to lock him up with another contract extension.

I have been gone for some very serious personal reasons and probably won't be back for a while after this post but just had to say this.

OConner is NOT coming. That is just stupid!!!!!!
Bolt is not ready.

Erstad is the front runner in my opinion. Bolt may have more coaching experience but Erstad has been around the block a few more times.

I have a ton of opinions on Anderson getting fired and what the future of Nebraska baseball is but can't get into it now.

I hope to get things cleared up to be able to post more asap.

I disagree about Erstad.

Let me amend what I said about Erstad being the frot runner. If Erstad decides to be a full time coach then I believe him to be the front runner.

Osborne has talked to Van Horn and gotten some recommendations and also called some MLB teams.

Sorry Irule but Bolt would be a mistake right now.
