Ran into Aaron Ward on the street, was wearing his giant ring. that sucker was nice.

Didn't have the balls to ask him to try it on though.

I did meet Neil Smith when the draft was here though, and YES, he let me try on his 1994 ring. Is it wrong that I felt a little tingle?

Hell no. I met Louis Tiant a few years back at a Red Sox game (my sister knew him because he golfed at the course where she was a waitress). He had the WS ring the Sox gave him after they won in 2004, which they gave to a lot of former sox players, and he let me try it on. It was too big and yeah, heavy as hell. It did give me a tingle having it on as I used to dream I would play for them when I was a little kid. Glad you had a great time.
