Even if Kyrie and Wade have weird fits in this lineup they still have the superior talent. Great defensively too. Not much shooting for each team but Kyrie, Bron, AD and Bosh would do fine.

All MJ team

PG: Pippen
SG: MJ
SF: Kukoc
PF-Horace Grant
C-Rodman

vs

All LeBron team

PG-Irving
SG-Wade
SF-James
PF-Bosh
C-AD

Vote and discuss!!!!
I'd vote Team Lebron, but if it becomes another MJ vs. Lebron discussion, MJ played with 3 of those teammates at one time with other combos of 2, I think, and Lebron only had Wade/Bosh at same time.

Yeah.

Don’t think anybody is picking any single LeBron team to beat the ‘96 Bulls.

So that means Scottie was a better ball handler? We're gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. Scottie's an all time great. But he never had the handles that dumbass Flat Earther has.

I'm torn by the "Pippen is an all time great" notion.

His accomplishments with the Bulls is second to none. But only because he was willing to be the #2 guy behind Jordan.

If Kyrie would be happy to take that role on, eventually he'd probably be known to be better than Scottie.
Problem is, Kyrie has always considered himself the alpha of the team but doesn't want to take any of the responsibilities.

I think to some extent any NBAers that play along side all time greats benefit. McHale played along side Bird. Worthy played along side Magic.

As far as Kyrie. Not sure what's wrong with that fella. It'll be interesting to see if he becomes unhappy with KD the way he did with LeBron.

No way.

Pippen was legitimately a top 4 or 5 player at his peak. Kyrie has never come close to sniffing that.

You think he wins a title with the same Bulls team minus Jordan?

Of course not.

But they got pretty damn close the year Jordan was playing baseball. Lots of superstar caliber players lack titles.

It is debateable as to whether Kyrie even makes his teams better. He definitely isn’t a superstar. Pippen was.

Does Pippen get another solid #2 behind him? He made a good run without Jordan and look at the rest of that roster. I don't think it's likely, but not outside the realm of possibility, imo.

Again, I wouldn't call Pippen a superstar. What would be the next tier down? All-Star? That's where he falls IMO.

Nor would I call Kyrie either one either.

Sure. Replace Jordan with a solid 'All-NBA third team' star player of that era like Reggie Miller, Shawn Kemp or Mitch Richmond and I very much doubt the Bulls win either.

3 time first team All NBA, 2nd team and 3rd team twice each, all defense 1st team 8 times.

Kyrie has made all NBA twice. 1 2nd and 1 3rd team.

Even if you don’t want to classify Pippen as a superstar (which I think is a mistake), there is a vast chasm between the 2 resumes in terms of individual accolades.

They should have beat the Knicks in ‘94.

The Knicks lost to the Rockets in 7 games.

They were very close. Without Jordan.

Coulda-shoulda

The 2004 Lakers should have wiped the floor with the Pistons
The 2011 Heat should have beat the Mavs
The 2013 Spurs should have beat the Heat

Pippen was a tremendous player, but not on the superstar level.
