Does anyone else realize what is absent from this entire list? I am not saying that anything is wrong with this list and when you only win 2 conference games you probably don't deserve anyone on any of these lists but Nebraska couldn't even get 1 person on the honorable mentioned list? That tells a glaring story in a nutshell about how bad this year was for Husker men's basketball.

Honestly this is a crock of shit.....I am not just saying that because I am a Husker fan, but Ryan Anderson was leading the country in steals for almost the entire season. He ended the season leading the Big 12 in steals. He should AT LEAST have made honorable mention for his defensive effort. I feel bad for Ryan....he played his ass off all year long.

I would like to add to this though that while it was a bad year for Nebraska, part of that was due to the fact that it was probably the best year for any single conference in the history of college basketball (for the Big 12)......or at least that is what all the "experts" are saying. Basically 11 out of 12 teams had veteran lineups while Nebraska's top 10 consisted of 7 virgins, two seniors, and a juco.....and two of Nebraska's would-be starters were out for the season before the season even started. I'm not one to make excuses, but I am going to make excuses for them this year.

I honestly bet 4 Big 12 teams will make the sweet 16, potentially 5 could.
