ALCS: Astros vs Rangers

Battle of the Texas teams with a trip to the World Series on the line.
Should be a good one.

Not like I'm an objective source, but I have Texas winning the series in 6.
Astros are really good but Texas has a deeper batting lineup and are getting Max Scherzer back.

Great points, especially regarding starting pitching, which is why getting Scherzer back is huge. Scherzer and Eovaldi give us an answer for Verlander and Valdez. Plus Montgomery and Dunning really fill out the rotation nicely...
Methinks Heaney, Bradford, Perez, Gray and LeClerc give us some really nice options out of the bullpen, as well.

I agree, the first game against the Orioles sreally showed what they are capable of under pressure.
I think that game was/is the key to this Post season.
Let's hope they can keep it up.

Since then we've gotten Eovaldi and Scherzer back, Evan Carter's come up and is mashing, and the bullpen has improved significantly since the playoffs began.

Everybody was a buzz over Scherzer (for good reason) but Montgomery really solidified a role for them.

Texas has a 1-0 series lead and will have Eovaldi and Scherzer starting games 2 & 3. Series momentum heavily favors Texas at this point.
