Kind of surprised at how low it is. The last time Alabama was favored by such a low amount was vs LSU in the NCG. You have to go all the way back to 2009 vs Ole Miss to find the next, -3.5.

I could very well be wrong but I'm just not buying Ole Miss as some great team yet. It may end up being close but I don't really feel like Ole Miss has what it's gonna take to come out with the win and wouldn't be surprised in the least if Bama wins by 2+ scores.

I'm not really buying it either. I think their defense may be legit, but I just don't think their offense is much of anything.

I also feel like this could be one of the best Alabama teams in my lifetime. But it's just so early I don't really know. I thought Florida was going to be a real test, but after the way we handled them it seems like they weren't a legit test. That was complete domination.

And yet I really hope like I feel as though we having been tested after leaving Oxford this weekend.

I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about this game. It feels like 2010 South Carolina.

Ole Miss has a GREAT defense. I mean if we make comparisons with common opponents, and 2 top 15 teams...

If UCLA is as good as advertised, then Ole Miss has an awesome defense, which was expected. I just pray Bo Wallace doesn't have a Stephen Garcia moment where he is inconsistent all year, but plays Bama and goes 18-19 with 2 TDs and about 250 yds. Call me crazy, but it's happened before under very similar circumstances.

If Alabama wins, it will be something like 23-13.
If Ole Miss wins, it will be something like 30-24.

I won't feel safe in this game unless we score 30. That has been the benchmark in our most previous losses and wins in close games with the exception of Oklahoma.

And you guys know damn good and well how ugly this game is every year. They always play us tough. If we are going to win this game, we have to win in every phase.

Call me Homer Gump, but I'm not drinking the Ole Piss koolaid. Not Bo Jackson Wallace is still Bo Wallace. He's just as apt to throw one up for grabs as he is to make a good play. He's thrown 6 INT's this year. They haven't impressed me at all. The Boise game was 7-6 after 3 quarters. The Memphis game was 7-3 after 3 quarters. Not Bo Jackson Wallace is 0-2 vs Bama. 32/57, 56%, only 141 yards passing a game, with 0 TD's and 2 INT's. Ole Piss has only managed 423 yards of offense and 14 points in those 2 games.

This has a trap game feel to me and I'm nervous for the first time this season. If we play to our potential, we should dominate them. I would love to see a dominating performance this Saturday, especially on defense.

I'm nervous about every game. Predictions for winning are always based on a team performing up to certain standards, and if we fail to perform and execute to those standards it can be a long day.

And yet I'm so damn excited about what this team has the potential to be. If we play Alabama football this game should be easy for the taking.

This is my concern as well. On paper, we should steam roll this Ole Miss team, and I half expect that to happen. There's another side of me that knows how scary it can be traveling into a hostile environment against a team that has had you circled.

If we turn the ball over in this game like we did against Florida...we could lose this game. I'm still not buying the Ole Miss hype, and I won't be shocked if blow these fuckers out the stadium. However, I respect that hostile environment, and the way players can play beyond themselves when they've really been preparing for a game, and have the want/hunger to knock a top team off.
