There are so many awards I have learned of that I didn't even know existed. There are about 10 prestigious awards then about 50 awards you never heard of. There are about 5 for quarterbacks.

It's been around since 1987, but probably isn't well known because only 4th year players can win it. He did beat out Aaron Murray and Boyd this year.

Aaron Murray would have deserved it also great QB and a fantastic college career I hate it ended the way it did with injury.

AJ is the QB I'd think is most likely to succeed in the NFL. He is older and more mature, knows a pro style offense, may be a "game manager" but isn't that what you need in the NFL? A solid defense and an offense that can move the ball and not make stupid mistakes/turnovers?

Would love to see him slide into the 3-4 round and Dallas get him. 3rd QB next year, backup the year after that, then replace Tony the year after that. The Aaron Rogers path

Its an annual award given to the best senior or fourth year QB.

i think the vast majority of people would agree with me. dude is a solid QB, but not really deserving of any nationwide most outstanding QB/offensive player/overall player award.

much like the ones ron dayne got, or peter jackson's oscars after the return of the king... they feel like career achievements
