90% of ALL tattoos are absolute garbage, IMO. I just can't understand why so many young people tattoo such large areas of their bodies. It's just ridiculous.

I got a 4'' by 4'' of a pretty badass phoenix rising from some ashes on my right shoulder blade. I got it on my back so no one would see it unless I would want them too. I'm that douche bag that tell you it has a meaning at what not.

Because kids always gotta prove how cool and original they are by copying everyone else.

I agree that most look like crap. If you want tattoos they should be put in places where they can be covered in case a job requires a more old fashioned look. I have half sleeves on my arm and tats from ankle to knee on both my legs. But a dress shirt and slacks cover them.

My tattoo artist and some of his work he is famous for...

Nothing wrong with that, or "Mom" on your bicep, etc, etc. I just don't understand the tatooing of one's whole arm, leg, chest, back, or all of the above. Is it just a cry for attention, or what??

He does some wicked shit for sure. Some of it is out there... Lottta Portland Hipster Hippies get that weird shit.

I got an Americana shoulder to elbow sleeve that took 4 - 4 hour sessions.

He also did my foo dog on my leg which is my favorite piece. One 7 hour sit. OUCH!

I also have used Dave Lum for a half sleeve. He is closing in on 70 now. Still doing old school wicked tattoos. He does mostly color pieces. He came outta that Houston tattoo era in the 60s and moved to Salem, OR a while back...

In some cases it is a cry for attention. For me it started with a 1 hour tattoo on my lower leg. Couldnt stop getting them. Both my arm pieces stop at my elbow...

Only my co-workers that were buddies outside of work even knew I had em. Dont like to show them off. Just like them for personal reasons.

I'm down with tattoos man and this isn't that great. After he gets a paycheck he needs to get it redone. It's pretty cheesy and looks like a jailhouse tat. Got nothing against the dude put I just shake my head when I see that. lol

If he went to tOSU he could have gotten a better one for free!!

Now you know the Aubies would have let her go on a drive, maybe rob a convenience store or two and then top it off with a trailer invasion. Hell, most of them would have joined her. :laugh3:

I bet they do a lot of coke together, that's how bama players roll

Not a big deal. At least they were responsible enough to not let her drive...this time.

As for the tat thing. One more thing that was once considered taboo is now mainstream except when it comes to employers. If these kids want to keep moving up the ladder they might want to get inked where they can be covered up during job interviews.

Show me a kid that has no tatoos or piercings studying in the library and I'll show you a true nonconformist.
