Ainge Has Help Meeting with Durant

This afternoon's meeting between Danny Ainge, the Boston Celtics and Kevin Durant was supposed to last about an hour. The meeting started at approx. 2:00 PM this afternoon and they're still together.

Last night Durant was blown away by the all of the attention that the Clippers expressed toward him and it appeared that KD was more than impressed.

Ainge has apparently pulled a rabbit from his hat. Instead of bringing a group of Celtic players to meet with KD, he brought along a few people from other teams who reside in Boston. David Ortiz is a huge KD fan and has texted him about coming to Boston. David isn't playing until 7:00 PM tonight and decided that he might be able to help KD decide to move to Boston but he wasn't 100% certain he could do it alone, so he called a friend to see if he might be able to make the trip to the Hamptons. The friend said he'd be more than happy to help out. So Danny Ainge, David Ortiz and Tom Brady are now still meeting with Kevin Durant 3 hours in Hampton, NY.

Did anyone bring a pen??

I was talking about KD , not Horford.
That's a lot of cash. Good for him.

Horford made total sense if he wasn't going to OKC.

If Durant now chooses Celts, it's cause of Horford, that's why I was ok having Horford here over Whiteside.
Situation now looks tons better IMO.
Obviously I want him in Miami, but it's not happening now.
If he chooses the Celts, then at least there's now a team to challenge the Cavs, and that would be a good thing.

Problem is, if OKC want draft picks for him, any team Westbrook goes to will automatically become a lot better for those picks to be significant.
