The PAC does love themselves some BYU.

BYU is not a P5 team. Counting them discredits this entire thread.

So we should discount ND as well since they aren’t a P5 team?

Notre Dame plays a P5 schedule. BYU does not.

If Notre Dame goes undefeated, they'll be playoff locks. If BYU goes undefeated, they'll get the UCF treatment.

BYU only plays 4 P5 teams this season. Notre Dame plays 9.

The two programs aren't comparable.

Someone should tell that to the SEC seeing how they were the first conference to call BYU a P5 team.

Seemed to work out well for them since they had two teams in the NCG game.

I'm a Georgia fan, not an SEC fan. Don't remember them ever playing BYU.

The SEC has not called BYU a P5 team.

There is a SEC rule that every team must play a P5 team, and BYU is considered an acceptable opponent for the rules. That'll change if BYU keeps sucking.

How did Arkansas ditch that rule for next year?

I have no idea how such rules are enforced.

Well it makes no sense how if these rules are indeed in place a team in said conference can have a 2018 and 2019 ooc schedule with no P5’s. I’m guessing selective enforcement.

Here's one to think on. The Big 12 teams play one more P5 team on average compared to their SEC counterparts. That's like having half the NFL play a 16 game schedule and the other half play a 15 game schedule. The SEC is full out pvssy when it comes to scheduling.

^Scared to look at real SoS methods.

So then what you are saying is that the SEC does not have any rule stating that they have to play a P5 team.
