Talk about a misleading title for an article.

Players such as Plumb have a long history with the sport. The Wild Goats, who have been in the league since its inception, is composed of men who used to play together in the Avenues as children. The arena at Hollywood Connection is something of an upgrade from the 11th Avenue Tennis Courts where they used to play in junior high.

Plumb is happy to pay the relatively modest $70 registration fee for a chance to hang out with his old friends, even if his wife thinks he makes it a little “too much of a priority.”

“It’s a good way to keep up with people,” Plumb said. “And it’s only like five or six bucks a game, so it’s pretty cheap, too.”

The one part of the article that made me throw up a bit in my mouth when I thought it was an "adult" League was this:

“It’s a really good workout, and you sweat a lot,” said Plumb, who works in real estate by day. “It’s fun and competitive. I’ve played in other leagues, but this one is by far the best.”
