Abdullah was the only threat vs Michigan State and he gained 123 yards. Michigan state could key on him,

Ohio State Braxton Miller was a running threat and Hyde only had 118 yards against Michigan State.

You could say that Miller was able to get more yards vs Michigan State because Hyde was being keyed on on. But you know Michigan State completely keyed on Ameer Abdullah.

Ameer has a good claim to the best back in the B1G.

I dont think there is any doubt that Abdullah was the best this year, unfortunately he played on an injury riddled bi polar team this year that couldnt get a streak going. Couple this with the fact that the opposing D s knew he was going to get the ball and I would say he was exceptiona this season.

it was two fold qb running threat n rb running threat which osu has both. TA has bad ankles and knee isn't 100 either and rk3...well he should just throw

If a team only has one running threat do you think it is easier to stop that one running threat than it is to stop a team with TWO running threats?

If your answer is no, then your football knowledge needs to be increased.

Defensive Coordinators are always trying to make a team one dimensional. Easier to stop. To make a team have only one threat is even better. You can have all of your defenders worry about player A instead of worrying about Player A and Player B.

We might be big 10 champs. Fun to think about, but we got dealt a bad hand.

It's fun to play the "if" game.. Especially as a Nebraska fan. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how many little things could have helped us win a CCG or even a national title in the last 6 or so years.
