this is how many yards from scrimmage each is averaging their first season in the NFL

#37 pick Giovani Bernard - 73.5

#48 pick Le'Veon Bell - 87.6

#58 pick Montee Ball - 26.5

#61 pick Eddie Lacy - 89.6

#62 pick Christine Michael - 26.3

Rotoworld wrote this Nov 10 on Christine Micheal:
Christine Michael rushed eight times for 33
yards in Sunday's Week 10 win at Atlanta.
All of Michael's carries came deep in the fourth
quarter with the Seahawks nursing a 33-10
lead. Still, his runs are nothing short of eye-
opening. Combining power with big-time burst,
Michael continues to display more natural
running ability than No. 2 back Robert Turbin.
We suspect that if Marshawn Lynch were ever
to go down, it would be Michael assuming
primary back duties. He is the real deal.

Rotoworld wrote this yesterday about Montee Ball:
Montee Ball had eight carries for 26 yards and
two touchdowns in Sunday night's Week 11 win
over the Chiefs.
Ball had a fumble in the first quarter that was
officially credited to Peyton Manning, but was
able to bounce back by converting on two goal-
line carries. He took on an expanded role
behind Knowshon Moreno and was used both
situationally and on third downs. It's the
second straight week Ball has looked
impressive on limited carries and he should
continue to push for more work going forward.

The Broncos are DEEP at RB, that has pushed down Ball's stats quite a bit. But as far as guys who have got the touches, Le'veon Bell has impressed me and saved at least one of my fantasy teams.

The eye ball test tells me that the top 3 in order are:

Bernard
Lacy

I stand corrected, looking at his stats closely you are right. The only thing I can say is at least he doesnt fumble.

Not to mention the Broncos have Manning.

it's hard to judge running backs based on stats. so much of their stats depend on the line they are running behind and even how good their defense is.

just ask trent richardson if he liked running behind 3 guys that would get drafted in the top 12 of the NFL draft. also ask him if he enjoyed running against tired defenses because his own defense with nfl talent all over the field was forcing so many 3 and outs and short drives to put the other team's defense right back out there.
