Let's pretend a new league of 13 teams, where everyone has to play everyone. For shits and giggles, let's suggest the following teams.

Alabama
Auburn
Oregon
Stanford
Ohio State
Florida State
Michigan State
Oklahoma
LSU
Clemson
Notre Dame
Texas
Texas A&M

Who would the winners and losers be?

I'll start, and say no one would come out undefeated. Being a Bama fan, I'll be a homer and say bama ends up 9-3.

I'm thinking LSU gets between 7 and 9 wins.

I could see Clemson with 5 or 6 wins with the team we have coming this year.

For FSU this coming year.

Alabama -- Win due to all of the changes happening on Offense.
Auburn -- Not sure. Still have Nick Marshall, but no stud RB that I can think of.
Oregon -- Loss due to missing our defensive back missle Lamarcus Joyner.
Stanford -- Win
Ohio State -- Win
Michigan State --Win
Oklahoma -- Loss just because FSU cannot seem to beat these fuckers.
LSU -- Loss due to their defensive quickness.
Clemson -- Another beatdown
Notre Dame -- Win
Texas -- Win due to all the changes of staff and so on
Texas A&M -- Definite win due to no Evans or JF

Based on results from the last time Oregon played teams on the list they have played recently they are 3-4. This years team would be 7-5 to 9-3, depending on where games are played, bye weeks etc...

The position I am the least worried about is RB Auburn is stacked.

Nobody is winning more that 8 or 9 games with that schedule
None of those teams has the depth to survive week in and week out

I have LSU losing to FSU. Not enough on offense to get the job done. Another qb controversy as well. FSU has enough offense to get the job done.

Seeing how the SEC isn't all that experienced with round robin schedules it's easy to understand how they miss the most important factor in guessing final results: Which of these games are home and away.

When it was the Pac 10 and each game alternated home/away you knew you had better chances on one year than the next based on which teams were good in that era. You preferred to play the teams you had no chance on anyway on the road and have all teams that were near your level at home to maximize your chances.

Match ups matter. If Oregon is better built to beat a ND than Bama then which they get at home/away will matter greatly in that final standings potential.

Let's see Stoops has a winning record vs all these teams he's faced except Lsu(0-1) and ND but he just won in South Bend so I like the Sooners chances vs. everyone on this list.

Even the winning team probably loses 3 games at minimum with that brutal schedule.

Are any Tre Mason? That is what I meant by that.

Could be there are 3 on campus and 1 that will be there in the Fall that could get Mason type production. Remember Mason was a third round NFL pick he had an amazing season but we aren't talking Bo Jackson or Cadillac Williams type ability. 3rd rounders grow on trees at Auburn.

So you are expecting an 1800 yd season from this cat? If so then that is good. But I will have to see that to believe it from a 1st year guy. I do not worry about NFL draft status(Too many guys go BUST!). Only what can be expected in college.

I don't Auburn is going to run like they did last year it's going to be way more balanced. The backs we have can carry he load no problem. Finding replacements for Greg Robinson OT, Dee Ford OL and Jay Prosch FB are bigger concerns for me. To be honest he secondary is the number one concern I have with number two finding that pass rusher who can make the big play when needed. Auburn is going to be better and have more talent on the field next year let's just hope they get some of the luck from last year also.
