Went to a Nirvana show before they were cool, they played 2 or 3 songs from Nevermind which hadn't been released. I was pretty young. There with sister and her friends, we were there to see another band. LOL. Little did we know. Since then listened to em and loved em.

Bleach is such a raw album. Love it.

Perks of living in Portland. :cool2:

Sorry rock world, Kurt caught a rare illness in Portland, called Courtney.:L

Shut up meg

The best feeling of the 90s was picking up an album you were unsure about and then hearing the first song and being like 'oh....this is going to be good'

This great song pretty much sums up the 90's.

The best thing about the 90's is they ended. The music was weak and the TV shows were crap.
Fully agreed on the TV. The first half of the 90s were amazing. The 2nd half was about on par with whats out now.

70s > 80s-early90s > whats out now, late 90s > 2000-2005 which sucked hard

Living up here was a great time in the early 90s. I remember getting to Seattle in late 1989 and posters everywhere for Soundgarden. I saw Alice in Chains with a 80's hair band called Vain. AIC blew the other band off stage and it was the beginning of the grunge movement for me.
