Oh look....Shittell is in!!

What could POSSIBLY GO WRONG??
Of course, tzill, I do think you've become even more critical in game than you were 5 years ago. It would be nice if you toned it down a bit.

I'm going to say the emotions are running a bit high right now. It is an intense time with both games going poorly. We've been posting together, for the most part, for at least 12 years. Let's give each other a bit of grace.
His postshitting is one thing. But posting a blatant, obvious false score update of the “other” game is, at best, a troll move, at worst…. Well, a troll move.

I don’t suffer trolls too kindly.

It has become his troll-game. Nothing more to it.

I'm going to assume that he made a mistake (I believe he said so in one of his posts) and was a little too quick to post an emotional response. I know I've done that before. tzill may be a bit heavy on the negativity in game but I haven't seen a pattern of intentional lying in his posts.

He “admitted” his mistake after maintaining the narrative for 3 or 4 posts, and only after being called out for it.

Hope that play doesn't sum how the game goes.
No harm no foul. No way he would have been able to turn that into a triple anyway. It just made the play at 2nd closer than it needed to be.

Actually, he acknowledged his error in his 2nd post (see #107 & #109). Not trying to defend all of tzill's actions but I do think its not as bad as you see it (in this sequence of posts).

The bullpen seems tired, we usually throw strikes and we've walked a ton of guys today...

It was a mistake. I owned it.

I don't think tzill is trolling us, he just can't help his emotional incontinence. Remember when he got so worked up he bailed on the board for a few months? He just can't help himself.

Hadn't read the intervening posts. Simply caught my mistake when I looked at the dog score

My last post on the topic…

He maintained the narrative (while mentioning it) for 2 posts. Added to the collapse narrative (which was somewhat accurate, to be fair) without mentioning the dog game for another post before getting called out for his easily confirmable incorrect statements before getting called out.

I over-reacted. But not by much, to be fair. He is acting very NN-like (every run given up should lead to the pitcher getting DFA’d and every time the Giants trail means the game is over). That shortens fuses, and I was a victim of that.
