Bochy going all righty. Gives start to Pill over Belt because of "splits," according to Bochy. Yet Belt's sOPS+ against lefties is 135, while Pill's is 65. I'm not going to get on Bochy for starting Pill over Belt, but why not simply say you're going with your gut, or how they look in BP, rather than to say splits favor Pill, when they don't. Makes you look dumb, Bochy.

Rizzo a little too nonchalant for a rookie.

panda with the FPRBIS

That's what's so head scratchingly intriguing about the panda.

Everyone's been trying to straighten out that cutter, only to pull it foul. Yet somehow, Pablo and his hacktastic ways is able to square it up and hit it into left for a single.

Pence smoked that ball into center. On a normal day that's off the wall at least.

I saw Cain hit 95 a few pitches ago. I can't remember seeing that very often in recent outings.

Not sure why he tried to back hand that thing instead of just getting in front of it. Maybe he had already come in too far?
