Pretty emotionally draining 2 games, not surprised we're all kind of spent. 2 1-run games, we coulda had both, and the whole mood is different. Baseball is cruel.

It also is hard to get excited when we run EA out there every day, team depth is a thing, and we didn't have it this year. No GM bats 1.000, and letting Arias go for EA was a whiff.

It's just depressing.

We could have used Arias's crazy numbers versus Kershaw today!

Kershaw is paid an insane amount of money. He went from making $4M last year, to $30M this year, $32M next year and $33M after that.

He can opt out after 2018 when he'll be 30 years old, and sign a new, longer deal.

Except Arias isn't completely gone. He's in Sacramento.
I wish Bochy would at least try Noonan at 2nd and move Tomlinson to shortstop. Couldn't be any worse than Adrianza playing.

I'm just gonna ride the wave this month, not get too high, or too low. Not with all these injuries and starting pitching problems.

???

Duffy started on the bench. sHits failed and opened the door or him to start. That hurt depth, but helped the starters. Then Craw AND Panik go down. Tomlinson fills in admirably, EA does not.

What do you expect from depth? All-stars/ROYs 3 deep at every position?

Depth did not kill the Giants this year. Injuries did. Pure and simple.

You know what grinds my gears?

Pitchers who throw over to first base with a catcher on base, in September. Fuck you Kershaw.

Probably too close to overturn, which means it will go against the Giants, and he will be called out.

Fair points, but injuries and depth are related.

The starting pitching did its part too.

Welp, the little man wants to watch Big Hero 6. So I lose. I'm a prisoner in my own home, lol.

Go Giants go! I'll be monitoring via Gamecast.
