I know this is a dead horse I'm beating but why does Kapler insist on keeping Wade at 1st base and Flores at DH when Pederson should not be in the field? Is Flores so hurt that he can swing a bat but not field a position? Is Wade really that much worse than Pederson in left field?

When managers do inexplicable things I usually assume it's for some good reason we don't know. Maybe Flores told him he prefers not to play in the field, and as our best hitter we accomodate. Or maybe it's something else. The main idea is Kapler knows a lot more about this than we do.

Generally, I agree. But I get frustrated when the team publicly acknowledged how piss poor Pedo’s glove was in the off-season. They even stood behind that declaration for half the season. Now they trot him out there on the reg, and he continues to demonstrate what a piss-poor glove he has.

I think, and I am guessing here, that Kap thinks that Wilmer cannot play in the field right now. That said, I'm guessing he'd rather have Joc in LF than at 1b.

I don’t think that is the configuration that LHG is suggesting. I think he is suggesting Flores at 1B, Wade in the OF and Pedo at DH.

If Flores can’t field, and Pedo HAS to be in the lineup, then “hiding” him in left is the best play.

Craw singles to RF. A run scores, right? RIGHT?!?

I hate how slow/unaggressive this team is. They need at least four straight singles to score a run.

And if Yaz cannot score from 2nd on a single to the OF with two outs, then he's not ready to play. EOR.

If Ohtani gets a special rule, why not Pederson?
