I am just saying there is a place and a time for everything. Right now, I think people need some time to start the healing process so that if and when they do something - It will have more meaning.

In seven months they should have some time for healing. My thought was to give Kobe a special tribute and induction to the hall just before the other guys go in so the whole regular induction isn't taken over by Kobe memories overshadowing what should be a very special day for all the inductees. And it just so happened that it coincides with his numbers and years played.

kinda thew same thought i had, tho i didnt do 8/24.

Let's not go overboard on this. Yes, it's tragic. I was never a huge fan but respected his play. And the accident was tragic. But saying he's bigger than the other guys in the HOF is way too far.
