I do wonder whether ATT screws up our hitters. I mean, the Nats hit 7 homers in that series, and we hit 2. Of course, most of those homers would be doubles at best at ATT, and more likely outs.

We are not a HR hitting team, no doubt. But when other teams are hitting them out regularly, and we are not, does that have any significance? Or maybe our pitching just sucked for a week or so.

I think the biggest effect it would have would be once we leave AT&T, our hitters try to swing for the fences to make up for it.

But even so, I don't think it has too much effect. If anything, a smart hitter willing to improve will become more polished.

I am curious why AB hasn't been sending the runners today. The Bucs' catcher has only thrown out 4 of 28 base stealers. Even Whitey did better last year.
