Forums are a dead concept. Hard to monetize and you open yourself up to legal woes.

Forums are GREAT communication tools, though. Unfortunate they just can’t work. Akin to the Betamax, I suppose.

I go to Hockeysfuture and use the sponsor option ,12 bucks a year and miss the adds. It has tens of thousands of members and is very active with generally reasonable moderation which keeps it to arguments but not personal attacks. Pretty great place to keep up on Hockey. Often get News there before anywhere else and of course immediate(LOL) analysis.

Have I ever shared my cross with Alex Cora?

My very first night in the dorms my freshman year in college, I got together with a couple of my floor mates and started walking the halls meeting people. We ran into a bunch of the baseball players on the 5th floor hanging out in the hall drinking and we stopped and shared a few beers with them. Alex was one of them. Of course at the time, I had no idea who he was, but I was aware of his uncle, Joey. I asked if he was related and he said yes.

I don’t know that our paths ever crossed again after that night, but that was a cool 1st night in college experience.

Not that I know of there is an active Basketball Warriors one Real GM, but only check it not a member and so don't post there. I WAS a Warriors Fan but after the Chris Webber and then Latrelle skirmishes Lost the Love of BB. But root for all the Warriors Fans who stayed through the bad times.
