Jordan 1988-89: 32.5ppg 8.0rpg 8.0apg 2.9spg .538fg

LeBron was only able to average 2spg in one season, no surprise. But its odd that he hasn't been able to average 8rpg and 8apg in the same season.

The only year he's averaged 8apg was 2009-10 when he averaged 8.6apg and 7.3rpg.
The only year he's averaged 8rpg was 2012-13 when he averaged 8.0rpg and 7.3apg.

Its also interesting that LeBron's highest number of blocks per game is only 1.1, and he's only average 1bpg in 3 seasons. For a player his size, and considering he defends smaller guys, it strange. Meanwhile Jordan's best shot-blocking seasons are 1.6bpg and 1.5bpg in back2back seasons. There is numerous footage of Jordan blocking 7-footers.

Its ok I'm not comparing, just wondering if LeBron will ever reach those stats. I mean even if Jordan didn't exist we'd still be wondering if LeBron can average 8apg and 8rpg in the same season. Its the closest we can hope to seeing a triple-double average.
