The Eagles kept a couple of draft picks, RB Donnel Pumphrey and WR Shelton Gibson, that really should not have made the team based on performance. I think GM Howie Roseman was trying to save face by not cutting them, but from my perspective, if some undrafted FAs step up and play better, that's not a terrible thing, that's competition working as it should. What is bad is keeping someone just because they were drafted.

This used to be a major thorn in Dallas. Draft position determined a lot.

was kinda surprised the Steelers cut TE David Johnson, as he was essentially their best blocking TE

Packers cut 2 of their WR draft picks, Max McCaffrey who caught everything ran great routes, big strong and fast but was cut for no f ing reason. Then TT keeps four RB's on a pass heavy team. This GM has either Alzheimer's disease or is just flat out retarded.

You should complain to the owners, they have all the pull.

Thankfully Ted Thomson's old ass is done after this season and the prodigy Wolf (Ron Wolf's son) will take over and bring the Lombardi trophy back home to Green Bay where it belongs. You've been warned.

Not really surprised with the cuts... More surprised with how aggressive Colbert was prior to the deadline. Never seen this much trading from this FO. Love it though. With Ben retiring they are goin all-in this year.

Yeah...name value, I wasn't expecting it...I thought Grimble was gone, but McDonald is noted to be a great blocker...I think that eliminated the need for DJ doing the same thing.

This was a ridiculous one. A young RB showing promise gets dumped in favor of old Tolbert and Joe Banyan? Seriously? Williams looked great in his time this preseason.

This reeks of "he's the previous regime's guy, not mine." Maybe a 1st year HC with a defensive background shouldn't have final say over the offensive roster. Of course he kept Tolbert, whom he had at Carolina.

I heard "expert" after "expert" say that Kellen would be the backup. If he isn't as good then he shouldn't be the backup.

From what I saw this preseason, he wasn't as good and it wasn't even close. Cooper looked really good.
