Nice to see Oxy back without a DL stint.

L L L L at the bottom of the lineup scares me a bit.

I always suspected Stokes was a shatter, now we have empirical proof.

Ha! Well I saw we were were 5th in runs scored, but the other stats didn't seem to support that, until I saw the RISP avg.

We are also have the fewest strikeouts batting, FWIW.

We've been moving in a good offensive trend since 2010, except for BA with RISP. Strikeouts have been down, walks up, ops up, runs up. We were 2nd in fewest strikeouts last year, 3rd in BA, 4th in OBP. In 2010, we were 5th, 7th and 9th respectively, and that was with a half season on Bengie Molina and Aaron Rowand and Pablo's down year. 2011 I'm throwing out the window, since Huff was the only guy with over 426 ABs/121 games.

It's nice to finally see the RISP improve, since the offense is actually already pretty decent. Giants offense doesn't get enough credit, just because we can't hit homers.

I'm proud of that stat. Putting the ball in play is important. I guess it's not surprising since Scutaro is very exceptional at not striking out, while Panda and Posey have very good strikeout rates for power hitters.

On a similar note, our starters are only 10th in ERA, but our relievers are 2nd.

We battle. T-O-R-T-U-R-E.

We may have to add Bochy to our mythical Mt. Rushmore. Or Sabes. Or both.

Guilty as charged!

I am tracking it carefully, though. Much better than last season.

Nice work. I just use the internet, but I'm sure you do a fine job too!

:heh:

Nah, we just want to see who lasts longer - you or Timmy.

Odds are shifting considerably toward you.

Yeesh, no kidding. The 3rd was better but you can see he just cannot place his fastball

Ah, but it may help Timmy to know his offense has his back a bit more this year...

Home Plate Umpire got ROCKED with a foul tip right in the kisser. He was dazed. Actually kind of stumbled after taking it.....
