Aww...well, I hope your opinion of me doesn't change all that dramatically.

Oh no. You're great. I just see why you like the Mets in this game.

I think Pittsburgh wins it rather easily. Cole @ home. Pretty much an auto win.

LOL that Mets, Yankees, and Red Sox fans are "Everybody". Playoff teams this year might well consist of the null set.

Lord help us if it's a St. Louis/Houston World Series. The newspapers in Boston will be doing extended Nor'easter and hurricane coverage.

The New York papers will have long since moved on to the Knicks by that time.

This being Syndergaard's 3rd game, there's no telling what we're going to get. This could be a 2-0 Pirates win or a Bucs blowout. If Thor is on, can't see either offense doing much, so that 7 run under looks tempting.

However, I see that Cole is 0-2 with a 8.00 ERA vs the Mets at home. Will be interesting for sure!

"Pfffft who Didn't?"

- Dirt

I'm sure Linda Carter was telling the network, "If you'd let me bust out of MY costume like that, we'd be killing Hulk in the ratings..."

So what you're saying is that the Northeast loves total disasters?

Sidenote - Cardinals are hitting the ball really well and striking out even better. Clocking in at 5th-7th in AVG and OPS is nice but this whole 1 hitter, 2 hitter double digit strikeout stuff is just getting silly.

Three teams that scare me now are the Giants because they're the Giants, the Tigers because regular season and the Cubs because they look like a classic late surge team (assuming they stop striking out, too)

Of course. We like Rocky Road, the Cardinals are Vanilla. Nothing wrong with vanilla, in fact it's the most popular flavor of all time, but...i don't know how to finish that sentence.

We had Mark McGwire so we had our exciting steroid meathead, too.

Baseball has been regional for a long time. I totally dont care about things like national ratings. Id watch an Astros/A's World Series

Honestly, I'm more likely to watch one that DOESN'T have the usual cast of characters...but since the Astros are now in the AL, that would be an LCS if they were playing the A's.

You got me. I wanted to say Astros/Cubs then immediately backed off and tried to think of a small market team and for some reason put As.

Im getting too old for this lol

Don't forget about this little gem! I'll be holding onto it all season

Giants sweep and shut out the Dodgers. Only 1 1/2 games back!

That was the straightest curve I've ever seen in my life. That was BP. I'm 53 and overweight and I could have hit that to the warning track.

Red Sox to add Rusney Castillo, option Bradley. About time! And play Holt on a regular basis.

Also, why do the Red Sox pretend like Jackie Bradley, Jr. is a legit trade chip? If they can't use him, no one can.

Easy (fake) money!
