Well it wasn't pretty, but then again not too many wins for this team under Kelly are.

Offense actually looked pretty good when Rees was in. Moved the ball nicely, then once he went down the offense went to shit, and the game was in jeopardy.

Defense looked outstanding, Tuitt finally played to his potential.

Running game looked like shit, McDaniel had 2 big runs, and then nothing in the 2nd half.
Troy Niklas continues to improve, and looks better each week.

It didn't come easy last night, but a win is a win, and our BCS bowl hopes are still alive.

Yes nice to see Tuitt play like he is suppose to play. D played awesome. I agree that Offense looked ok with Rees in before he went down but he still cant make big plays. I agree he is better then Hendrix. Hendrix looks like he should just get cut if u were allowed to cut players. Wow he looked bad.

We have a great chance to be 9-2 before the Stanford game.

Defense has been strong for two consecutive games. Their performance against USC was impressive, our only hope of winning the game rested on the shoulders of our defense and they came up big. With the way the D is playing we have a good shot at running the table as long as Hendrix is not the QB. With Hendrix, I don't think we could win another game unless the defense or special teams scored.

Defense does look great and I think the main reason is because Tuitt and Nix is starting to play. Also want to give credit to J. Smith and Shembo. Both been good this year for ND.
