From Pavlovic:

— The Giants have scored exactly 200 runs through 42 games, an average of 4.76, well above their average of 4.43 a year ago. Only these Rockies (4.90) score more.

— On the flip side, the Giants starters have given up 31 runs through 18 2/3 innings on this trip. That the most for a Giants group since Joe Nathan, Shawn Estes, Livan Hernandez and Russ Ortiz gave up 33 runs against the Rockies and Braves in May of 2000.

The 4.69 ERA for this staff is better than just Milwaukee and San Diego, and nearly a full run higher than last year’s mark.

— The Giants now have 30 errors on the season, tied for third-most in the National League.

I'm in a business calculus/statistics class and we recently did regressions and we often use baseball statistics as examples. The Giants outlook so far isn't too promising, they really need to clean some things up. Don't really need math to understand that though, if you've been watching the games you know that.
