Not that I don't disagree you could say this about a few guys last few games. They have looked lifeless with the exception of the first 8 minutes of the 2nd period.
Blame that on lack of leadership IMO.
I agree, where is the rivalry? We haven't looked good in these loses, at least before we were competitive and usually lost in OT.
We are not at that level yet. A few of you may or may not agree with me here. The Pens and TB are probably the top dogs of the east. I think we are at the next level with the Bruins and Caps? Just my opinion. Goaltending, defense breakdowns, and turnovers in our zone have been our achillies heel for years now it seems.
Our opportunity was lost in TB. That was the beginning of these letdowns. A game we should have won and then ....

No I agree with you, but your vets and leaders have to get the team ready for these games. We dominated the caps and the Bolts during our win streak.

Honest question here, when have we had a true very good leader? I love G, but is he the main vocal leader here? Richards was aweful as the team leader.
