I understand why Gus called the timeout. Georgia running up the middle on the first play made it look like we were content to take it to halftime, and if his defense would have made a couple of plays, it would have looked good.

But Swift broke a couple of big runs, and they left a couple receivers wide open and it turned into a TD for us. I'll gladly take it too.

Question for all you geniuses. If Gus is supposed to be an offensive guru, how come it always seems like Auburn's defense always has to carry them? Seems like every year Auburn Defense>Auburn Offense.

Because Gus is a dumbass. He calls the same plays with the same personnel in the same formation every game. It doesn’t ever fool anybody and only works against teams we can just physically overmatch. Also our oline is bad. It’s just a whole mess of an offensive system.
